Newly Organized PTA Soaring

The new senior pastor of Mahaporn Church Rev. Jakrapan Chukiatiwongul, father of Manapawn (G12) serving on his second year term leads the newly elected PTA COMMITTEE comprising of
Mr. Glen Westwood, father of HS students Philip (G9) and Matthew (G8), Mrs. Hatairatana Boonpienpol, mother of Elementary students Gene (G6) and Genee (G4), Ptr. Chad Visca, father of Nav (G2) and Counselor Maya Maclang mother of Faithful (G7) and Joyful (G5). Parents unanimously expressed delight in the PTA election and reorganization held last September 28, 2011 at BCIS Hall. The meeting was well-represented from Nursery, Elementary, High School and EFL departments. It is no wonder that the committee was well-represented across the grade levels.

Guidelines for the election were presented by School Director Linee
Jutrakul. Principal Rev. Cha delivered the welcome address on behalf of School Board Sumonmand Rodnirun, prayed for the election and over the PTA Committee. Parents raised their recommendations and suggestions regarding curriculum improvement, enhancement of communication, strengthening of the family, homework regulations, cultural clubs after school and two pronged program breakfast/snacks catering-fundraising etc. We can almost sense parents express "Let's roll!" as they chat and socialize further after the PTA meeting.
